loopi, from empty repo to working app in three days

new project. an ai character chat app for phones — swipe, match, chat with characters who keep their own memory of the relationship.

built in numbered phases against a written spec. phase 0 was the workspace, core schema, types, and a provider adapter so the model behind the characters can be swapped without rewriting the app. phase 1 was the chat orchestrator, prompt assembly, memory service, safety pipeline. phase 2 the beats engine. phase 3 the character factory. typescript throughout, react native and expo on mobile, fastify with bullmq workers on the api, postgres on supabase, media in cloud storage.

the provider adapter looked like over-engineering on day one. it stopped being that the first time a model turned out not to be able to see images.
