Autopilot — a written idea becomes a finished video — spoolcast

Autopilot drives the whole pipeline unattended — it presses the same buttons a person would, fills in what you left blank, and takes a one-line idea through every step to a rendered video.

What is Autopilot?
The unattended mode of the spoolcast pipeline. You give it an idea in one line and walk away; it works through the same numbered steps a person clicks, and stops with a finished video.

What it does
- Runs every step in order — core message, screenplay, shot list, images, clips, narration, final cut — pressing the same buttons a person presses at each one
- Fills in what was left empty, so a bare idea runs through without a prepared project
- Counts the steps the project actually has, instead of assuming a fixed workflow
- States what a run will cost before it starts; every button that spends money asks first
- The Start button only appears on steps Autopilot can actually work from
- You can watch it run live and take over at any point

How it works
Autopilot has no private path through the product. It calls the same engine actions the interface calls, which is why a run can't quietly diverge from what a person would get by clicking. Each step saves before the next begins, so a run that dies halfway resumes instead of restarting. Prices come from the engine's own list of paid actions.
