ten weeks of missing work, put back on the tracker
the tracker stopped on 8 july at day 113. the site sat there for ten weeks while four products kept shipping. today it caught up: 21 entries, two new project lines, and a day count that was quietly wrong.
the audit was the actual work. 150 repository folders collapse to 22 real repositories once the duplicate working copies are grouped — 97 of them were spoolcast lanes. every one got checked against all 100 existing entries by name, description, repo and link before anything was called missing. roughly 2,400 merged changes read to find what a person would notice. one near miss worth recording: a folder called complaint-radar looked untracked until its own description showed it was the earlier version of the reddit brand monitor already on the site. reading beats guessing.
two things were broken and nobody knew. the day count was one short after the spring clock change, because it divided two local midnights by a fixed 24 hours and the night the clocks go forward is 23. and the job that publishes the site when the tracker changes had never run once — the workflow file was committed to a branch that was never merged, so github had never seen it. 132 changes had piled up unpublished since july.
