## Details

**What is it?**
The mechanism that hands the plot to the audience and charges them for it.

**What it does**
- Connect a wallet and bid in real USDC on Base, testnet first, then live
- Bidding is stack-then-confirm: press −$1, +$1, or +$5 to build an amount, then one Confirm places it as a single bid
- The pot's progress toward the reserve that buys the next five minutes is shown as one bar
- Filming starts the moment the vote closes
- When the film budget runs out, bidding and filming pause rather than overspending

**How it works**
Pricing is derived rather than picked: the audience pays a set amount per second of footage so that every block covers its own filming cost plus a margin, which sets both the pot that wakes the movie and the price of a takeover. Moving to a faster, half-price video model dropped the per-second price and every threshold with it, automatically. The Confirm button names the exact amount it will place, can't be pressed twice while a bid is in flight, and forgets a half-built amount when a new choice opens.

**Built with**
Node.js and React, USDC on Base with a Foundry-tested contract, SQLite, Cloudflare R2.
